The Smart Loitering Munition System ALPAGUT is classified under kamikaze UAVs with its fixed-wing and motorized structure. ALPAGUT can be used against moving or stationary land and naval targets, radar and communication systems, lightly armored land or naval vehicles, critical facilities like command centers, personnel, and fleeting targets, both day and night.
ALPAGUT offers an operational radius of 60 kilometers with a flight duration exceeding 60 minutes and can carry various types of warheads. It can conduct attacks individually or in swarms.
As for its operational concept, once fired or released, ALPAGUT loiters in the air for a specific period, identifying, tracking, and attacking targets undetected using its EO/IR seeker head. It autonomously navigates and dives toward the target upon user approval to neutralize it.

Bayraktar AKINCI conducted a shooting test with the EREN High-Speed Multi-Purpose Loitering Munition, developed by ROKETSAN. The EREN munition can be launched from UAVs, helicopters, land vehicles, fixed systems, and naval platforms, addressing significant needs in this domain with its superior guidance capability, prolonged flight time, and a range of over 100 kilometers. It can eliminate both armored and unarmored targets at low speeds.
