Same design, same screen, same single camera, same aluminum body
Visually, the iPhone 17e is identical to the iPhone 16e. It features the same design, screen, single-lens camera with some software enhancements, and the same aluminum body. The only change is a new color option. In addition to black and white, a pink variant is now available. That’s all it offers in terms of appearance.
Faster processor, quicker charging, longer battery life
There are three main hardware updates: a newer processor, an upgraded modem, and additional storage space with MagSafe. Apple has upgraded the processor to the latest A19 chip (which still features a six-core layout with two performance and four efficiency cores), doubled the storage (now starting at 256 GB, with an optional 512 GB), and included a custom C1X modem. This modem offers double the speeds of the C1 while consuming 30% less energy for better battery life.
Lastly, the iPhone 17e supports MagSafe, which was missing in the 16e. It is now fully compatible with all first and third-party MagSafe accessories, including chargers, stands, power banks, and more. Apple also provides official cases that support MagSafe. In addition to adding MagSafe support, Apple has increased wireless charging speeds to 15W with Qi2.

The iPhone 17e, with its single-lens camera and 60Hz display, appears to be a challenging model to sell. The starting price is set at 54.999 TL, with pre-orders beginning on March 4th and sales launching on March 11th. As expected from Apple, the introduction of the iPhone 17e has led to the removal of the previous model, the iPhone 16e, from the Apple Store. Currently, the most affordable phone available at Apple stores after the iPhone 17e is the iPhone 16.
