Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu made significant remarks during a live broadcast on HaberTürk.

Emphasizing the ‘Family Year’ during the live stream, Memişoğlu stated, “The foundation of a society is the family, which consists of a mother, father, and children. If you don’t have children, you can only be a couple, not a family.”

His comments sparked discussions on social media, with Sıla Türkoğlu, who plays the character Doğa in the popular show Kızılcık Şerbeti, also reacting to his statements.

In a social media post, Türkoğlu expressed: “Even if children are born into gangs, once they grow up, they will face psychopaths; if they eat outside, they will encounter unsanitary consumption. In a country where they will face poverty, lawlessness, and reckless drivers, should we focus on bringing children into this environment, or rather ponder how to ensure ‘safe cities’ and trust in the law?”
