YouTube Music, 10. yılında “Taste Match” çalma listesini tanıttı

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the popular music service YouTube Music has introduced a new playlist called “Taste Match,” akin to Spotify Blend. Learn more.

The “Taste Match” playlist is designed to bring together overlapping interests from multiple users. YouTube stated, “We’ve created the Taste Match playlist to facilitate connections through shared musical tastes and to encourage the discovery of new songs. This playlist is automatically updated daily based on the music preferences of all participants.” In celebration of its 10th anniversary, YouTube has made additional announcements. For example, users can now directly comment on albums and playlists. Furthermore, YouTube is collaborating with Bandsintown to enhance concert visibility, making an artist’s concert dates accessible not just in their videos but also in Shorts and on their channel. Additionally, YouTube Music will now notify users about new songs, upcoming albums, concert dates, or products available for purchase through a notification system.

The platform had previously introduced a new feature for lyrics sharing in its Android app. The update includes a “Share” button in the lyrics section of the playing song. When pressed, users can select the desired lyrics to share, which can be sent directly to Instagram with a stylish card design or saved visually to their phone if preferred. Users of YouTube Music can customize the color of the card that includes the song and artist’s name. The service gained attention earlier with the “consistent volume level” feature released for Android and iOS. This feature, globally available since last week, ensures that all songs play at the same volume level, resulting in an improved listening experience. To enable this feature, apps must be updated to the latest versions, and users will need to navigate to the playback and restrictions section in the app settings.
