Samsung Galaxy Ultra Kısa Film Yarışması İçin Başvurular Açıldı
Samsung Türkiye is inviting future directors to express their creativity through the inaugural Galaxy Ultra Short Film Competition. This event aims to support the discovery of future talents and empower young artists in their careers by encouraging them to showcase their unique works.
Students enrolled in high schools, universities, or equivalent institutions can submit their entries until 27 May. Participants are encouraged to create promotional films with original scripts and footage, not exceeding 1 minute in length, and upload their work to platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Facebook. They can submit the link through the application form available at this site.
The ultra short films, which can be shot with any brand of device, smartphone, or camera, will be judged by a panel that includes director Cansu Baydar and editor and film critic Aslı Ildır. The top five winners will be announced on 30 May. Those who make it to the top five will earn the opportunity to attend a short film training session conducted by the Cinema Department of Bilgi University from 31 May to 10 June.
Samsung also gifts the winner a Galaxy S25 Ultra
From 11 to 14 June, the selected top five filmmakers will receive a promotional film through the Galaxy S25 Ultra provided by Samsung, and those chosen will produce a short film format of their promotional videos. The winner will be announced during an award ceremony on 17 June, receiving a Galaxy S25 Ultra and a cash prize of 250,000 TL.
