The Witcher Season 4 Release Date Announced with New Video

The Witcher Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on October 30! A new main poster, photos, and the first clip featuring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia have been released. The action-packed clip showcases Geralt battling a night wraith. Among the new images in the gallery below are the first official stills of Laurence Fishburne as Regis.

Liam Hemsworth has stepped in to fill the role of Geralt, previously played by Henry Cavill, who departed the series at the end of Season 3. Cavill’s Geralt was last seen walking into the forest alongside his companion Jaskier (Joey Batey) and Milva (Meng’er Zhang). The show’s producer, Lauren Schmidt, shared with Tudum.com about Season 4: “This marks the beginning of a two-season journey where our family finally comes together and stays together.”

The penultimate season of The Witcher consists of eight episodes, each lasting 50 minutes. The series will conclude with a fifth season. The official summary for the season reads: “In the wake of events that change the Continent in Season 3, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri are separated by a brutal war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge and their goals crystalize, they encounter unexpected allies who wish to join them on their journey. If they can accept this new family, they may stand a chance to reunite forever…”
