iPhone’un Üretim Merkezi Artık ABD’de: Apple’dan Büyük Adım

Complete Supply Chain in the U.S.
To this end, Apple has launched a special manufacturing program called the “American Manufacturing Program”. The program aims to shift the company’s supply chain and advanced manufacturing processes more to the U.S. Apple has also become the first company to establish a complete supply chain in the U.S. The production of chips used in iPhones will now take place on U.S. soil.
The supply chain will begin with advanced silicon wafers provided by GlobalWafers America. These wafers will be sent to TSMC’s new facility in Arizona, where Apple will be its largest customer. Texas Instruments will also play a crucial role in expanding chip production in Utah and Texas. Additionally, Applied Materials will produce advanced semiconductor equipment in Austin, enabling Apple’s custom-designed chips to be completely manufactured within the U.S.

Additionally, Apple announced its collaboration with Samsung to work on a new chip manufacturing technology that will be used for the first time globally at its chip factory in Texas. Broadcom and Amkor are also among the production partners.
Apple’s server factory in Houston is set to begin mass production in 2026. Last month, the announcement of a new manufacturing academy in Michigan was made to provide advanced manufacturing techniques training to U.S. companies.
Apple CEO Tim Cook stated, “I am proud to say that Apple is leading the way in creating a fully integrated silicon supply chain, from design to equipment, chip production, manufacturing, and packaging. We will continue to work with our suppliers to bring even more of these incredibly advanced jobs to America.”
