The incident occurred in the Hatipler district of Çorlu on Bedri Rahmi Street. A.Y., who was previously divorced and worked at a factory, shared a post on his social media account in the evening, stating, ‘G.U. is entirely responsible for our deaths. Forgive me. Goodbye.’
FATHER FOUND WITH CUT WRISTS, DAUGHTER DISCOVERED DEAD
Concerned relatives who couldn’t reach A.Y. contacted the 112 Emergency Call Center. When police and medical teams arrived at the apartment with the help of a locksmith, they found A.Y. with severe injuries to his wrists and discovered his middle school-aged daughter S.D.Y. dead.
SUSPICIONS OF ‘MEDICATION’ IN THE YOUNG GIRL’S DEATH
A.Y. was taken to Çorlu State Hospital for treatment. A significant amount of medication was found next to S.D.Y. Her lifeless body was also taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
